The Year of The Intentional Believer

Prevail Family

As we approach 2025, we are filled with great expectation and faith in God, who is our

exceeding great reward. Just as He was with Abraham, He is not a respecter of persons and will  do exceedingly, abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power at work in us .

This is a year of vision and fulfillment—a year for The Intentional Believer .

Ecclesiastes 5:3 (AMPC) tells us, “For a dream comes with much business and painful effort,

and a fool’s voice with many words.” As we dream big and step into what God has for us, we are reminded that intentionality is key. Intentionality in our faith, in our actions, and in every area of  our lives positions us to see God confirm His Word with signs following, as He did in the days of old. When we do the work, declare His promises, and align with His vision, God moves mightily to bring those dreams to pass .

Expecting the Exceeding

We look forward with eager anticipation for God’s hand to perform His Word in our lives. As the Lord confirms what we confess and believe, we must also be intentional in our efforts . This

intentionality will not only lead to the fulfillment of personal dreams but also drive growth and impact in our church and community.

What It Means to Be an Intentional Believer

In 2025, we’re calling everyone to embrace the vision of The Intentional Believer . This means being deliberate and focused in every aspect of our lives:

  •       Faith: Boldly trusting God and acting in faith tosee His promisesmanifest.
  •       Church Growth: Being committed to the vision of the church, working together toexpand its reach and impact.
  •       Attendance: Prioritizing being in the house of the Lord and showing up with consistencyand purpose.
  •       Serving: Using your gifts and talents with enthusiasm and readinesstomeet the needs of the ministry.
  •       Discipleship: Mentoring others and walking alongside them as theygrowin their relationship with God.
  •       Personal Dreams and Aspirations: Taking intentional steps toward fulfilling the desiresGod has placed in yourheart.

Intentional Conduct, Conversation, and Contribution

Being intentional also extends to how we conduct ourselves, what we speak, and how we give:

  •       Conduct: Let your attitude, behavior, and demeanor reflect trust andfaithin God. Bold moves of faith come from a heart anchored in His promises .
  •       Conversation: Speak God’s Word, not your circumstances. Declare His promises, rejectdoubt and fear, and let your words align with faith.
  •       Contribution: Commit to supporting the vision with your time, talent, and treasure:

Time: Be present in services and events, and make punctuality a priority.

Talent: Serve with excellence and a willing heart, bringing your best to the ministry.

Treasure: Sow generously into the vision, knowing your financial support enables the work of the kingdom to advance unhindered.

Preparing for 2025

As we move forward into the new year, prepare your heart to be intentional. Seek God’s

guidance, align your priorities, and make bold moves of faith. Reflect on how you can embody The Intentional Believer in every area of your life. Together, as a church, we will see

extraordinary things as God performs His Word and confirms it with signs following.

Let’s dream together. Let’s work together. Let’s believe together. And let’s be intentional in making 2025 a year of exceeding fulfillment for God’s glory.

With great expectation, Willie Marshall Sr.
